The Bite Magazine - Autumn/Winter 2025 - Issue 38
Mia Zhang admires the beauty, philosophy and legacy behind Leandra’s gold jewellery. bitejewellery Leandra S ome brands begin with a business plan; others start with a story. Leandra began with a single diamond, a gift of love, that sparked the desire to build something lasting. From that intimate moment, a fine jewellery house was born, one defined by intention, rather than excess or trend. Based in Barcelona, Alejandra Rumeu Claret and Víc- tor, a master jeweller whose family has worked with gold since 1957, founded the jewellery brand. Leandra is more than a brand name. It is a dialogue between generations, craftsmanship and emotion, between the permanence of metal and the transience of human experience. At its heart, there is a philosophy that jewel- lery should not be stored, but lived in. Pieces meant not only to adorn, but to accompany and to witness everyday life, to carry stories through time, and to age as gracefully as the women who wear them. “A jewel should never belong to a drawer. “ That sense of intimacy defines everything about the brand. The designs are sculptural yet fluid, bold yet effortless, and speak the language of duality. Leandra is feminine and powerful, classical and modern, daylight and moonlight. Each collection unfolds like a conversation between strength and softness, between the precision of the goldsmith’s hand and the imperfection of life itself.
