The Bite Magazine - Spring/Summer 2025 - Issue 37
bitemen G od’s True Cashmere embodies a sense of stillness and a gentle refusal to rush, shout, or over-design. In the heart of Paris, amidst the noise and flash of the trend cycle, co-founders Brad Pitt and Sat Hari Khalsa offer something different: clothing designed as a sensory reset. The brand was inspired by a dream Sat had when Brad asked for a special gift, a green cashmere shirt. “Softness,” he said. “I need more softness in my life.” When Sat recounted her dream to her friend, he desired such a garment. The creation of God’s True Cashmere began with extensive research into the finest artisans worldwide to achieve this sense of softness. Sat, a jewellery de- signer and holistic healer, believes touch is a tangible expression of love. “With discernment, I have woven every inch with the finest cashmere, with softness worthy of the God in you.” Each shirt features seven buttons down the front, representing the chakras, while eleven buttons symbolise mastery in numerol- ogy. “Each button is imbued with a healing gemstone lovely selected for you.” Their collection is rooted in pure cashmere and char- acterised by intention and integrity. Each piece invites the wearer to slow down and experience their body differently. The shirts fit closely rather than draping loosely, and the trousers are curved around the hips instead of sharply tailored. There was no urgency here, just a sense of presence. The palette consists of soft plaids and creamy whites. These colours are calm and assured, settling on the eye rather than shouting for attention. The cuts remain relaxed, with dropped shoulders and open cuffs, either unbuttoned over bare skin or layered in monochrome sets. There is a quiet sensuality in how the fabric moves; it’s less about showcasing and more about being present. The materials and philosophy stitched into every seam differentiate God’s True Cashmere from the rest. Each garment is finished with hand-carved stone buttons chosen for their unique energy. The number eleven is embroidered on each shirt, a subtle nod to the symbolic language that underpins the brand. It’s a detail you might overlook initially but will sense when you wear it. This season also introduced a few new items beyond the classic silhouettes.
