bitebeauty So what are the benefits of shungite, and how does it work? Cassie explained that modern research and medical studies have been docu- mented on this particular stone, proving its beneficial usage. Shungite is a black, organic-rich stone containing fullerene, hollow, spherical molecules made of carbon atoms. It comes in two grade types: Elite, the purest format with 90% fullerene, and the less rare Black Shun- giten containing 75-80%. In 1996, professors Harold W Kroto, Rich- ard E Smalley and Robert F Curl were awarded the Nobel Prize for discovering these carbon atoms. After many years of work with this compound, the carbon naturally occurred in shungite. Cassie also explained that everything in nature has vibrations or waves that rotate clockwise. On the right-hand side, this ‘active field’ creates a shield against free radicals and toxins, breaking down and removing their harmful molecules. Anything with unnatural vibration, rotating anti-clockwise, spins in the opposite direction. Thanks to its fullerene content, shungite can reverse these harmful waves and return them healthily to create a natural balance. Its many uses include its abili- ty to clear toxins, electromagnetic fields and radiations, and bacteria, cleansing water, and healing the body. In medication, fullerene is used as an antioxidant, antiviral and an- ti-inflammatory. Adding one to three pieces of shungite inside a glass or a bottle of water would nullify the chemicals for up to five days. The longer it is kept, for example, overnight, the more it becomes pu- rified, more energised, and free from radicals. Therefore, it hydrates the body, benefits the skin, and glows more. Water tastes better and sweeter, while teas and coffee are more tasteful. Finally, there is no need to replace the stones. Shungite can be used repeatedly; rinse and reuse it. Another interesting way to use shungite is tomeditate. It has a ground- ing effect as a healing stone, bringing comfort and strength. Holding a stone in each hand helps to distress and balance the mind. I usually carry one inside my pocket when I have a long day ahead and must stay focused. Shungite is used in various applications, such as medi- cal, cosmetics, and industrial. Oraphim Shungite has studied and em- ployed its undeniable and versatile properties on healthy products, wellbeing solutions and projects, including jewellery, energy devices, stickers, powders and many more.
