Therefore, it is natural that my choice for this busy and challenging season is dedicated to exploring the world of Oraphim Shungite in depth. I’ve used their extraordinary healing stone extensively since meeting Cassie at the London Body, Mind and Soul exhibi- tion. She and Rich are the founders of this incredible brand based in England. Oraphim combines the benefits of shungite with the knowledge of scientific pioneers to create products and tools for health benefits. It utilises silver-saturated shun- gite to harmonise electrical devices, aids rapid healing, detox- ifies the body, and has other beneficial effects. Cassie Spray (aka Cassie Oraphim), author of Shungite: Expect Miracles, introduced me to some mind-opening facts. Its origins are still a mystery, but it was primarily found in the Karelia region in Russia. It’s speculated a large meteorite hit Earth and left shungite debris on impact. Other theories indicate that its organic matter comes from sedimentary rock or ancient sea organisms. Shungite is estimated to be two bil- lion years old before organic life on Earth. It’s been used since ancient times to purify water, and Peter the Great created a special spa in the region of Karelia to use the purifying and detox properties of the water. He gave his soldiers one shun- gite each to use in their water whenever they went. The largest lakes near shungite deposits have pure water from which peo- ple can drink.
