Following his suc- cess with The Invisible Man , Whannell transforms this creature feature into an intimate family nightmare, with Christopher Abbott leading an outstanding cast along- side Emmy-winner Julia Garner. Set in the isolating wilderness of rural Oregon, the film cleverly reimagines werewolf mythology through a modern lens, incorpo- rating pandemic-era anxieties into its storytelling.
