W hile she initially chose the economic insti- t ute route, Elena Reva has always dreamed of creating clothes. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, the would-be designer modelled from age 15, allowing her to communicate with designers during fittings and shows, learning the sewing clothes processes and diving deeper into the fashion world. In 2010, she created Obrani, a womenswear brand, with a friend and two years later, she established her namesake brand, opening a showroom in the heart of Kyiv. Inspired by women, their amazing inner world, energy and vitality, the designer loves to create beautiful, feminine, intriguing and elegant clothing for special occasions with a sense of celebration. Her bustier dresses and sculptural corsets are the signature designs of the brand. Elena recy- cles the looks each season and adapts them to the collections’ modern needs, trends and ideas.
