Among its innovative treatments, Platelet-Rich Fi- brin (PRF) has emerged as a standout solution for skin and hair rejuvenation. PRF was developed as a second-generation platelet concen- trate in the early 2000s. Prepared without anticoagulants, it led to a fibrin matrix that can slowly release growth factors. It was used in various surgical fields, including periodontol- ogy and implantology, and can enhance soft tissue healing and bone regeneration. The resulting PRF serum is injected or applied post-micro-needling to the desired areas.
