The pendants are available in classic primary colours and the latest seasonal trends, such as white, powder yellow, vintage rose, azure, light sapphire, champagne, grape, lapis, tanzanite, majestic purple and jet. Tivola has similar elegant and colourful pendants in an oval design. It may look simple, but the chunky Basic Ring from the Interchangeable collection is extremely solid. Basic Ring Perosa and Lana have rope detailings, Basic Ring Leece features two crystal rows, and Basic Ring Veroli has spherical details on its rim. The eye-catching Basic Ring Small Deluxe features several crystal stones in a panel, making it look intriguing. All basic rings can be combined with varying gem set tops from the Interchangeable collection. In a range of 5 mm to 13 mm, the interchangeable gem set tops consist of styles like Bottone in a chalice form with a minimal stainless steel rim. Tondo Deluxe features a sparkling crystal-en- crusted rim set, and Vaiano has an attractive wrapped rope detailing. Sesto is designed with a harmoniously rounded stainless steel rim showcasing the sparking crystal. Ghiare features spherical detailing, London has a chalice form rim in a different style, and Stellar has a star- shaped rim. Sophia Lutz is Head of Design at Coeur de Lion, which acquired Qudo this year. She's worked in the jewellery industry for 22 years and is a state approved fashion designer since 2006. “I’ve always loved jewellery; it’s my absolute passion.” Designer Melanie Janke creates jewellery for both brands. She started her journey in 2006 and finished her crafts education in ivory carving with a meister (master craftsman) in 2010. She graduated with a BA in Jewellery and Object Design at Pforzheim University in 2019. Sophia, creator of the Geocube, says inspiration is everywhere. “The right jewellery pieces can give you confidence and be such a personal special piece emotionally. Even to the level where you can give every simple outfit that certain something with the right piece of jewellery.” De- signing jewellery has always been Melanie’s passion and desire to capture the beauty of nature. “As a little girl, I loved tying flower wreaths as jewellery. Later, I wanted to make jewellery from found stones and shells.”
