bitejewellery Jewellery Designer Profile Lara Stafford-Deitsch I nspired by her love for life drawing and appreciation for the female’s natural beauty, Bristol-based fine jeweller Lara Stafford-Deitsch creates wearable works of art. “I am passionate about creating quality pieces that go be- yond aesthetics and convey a powerful message,” she said. “My jewellery is not just about adornment, but also a celebration of women’s strength, resilience and individuality.” Thus, she en- courages women to embrace their uniqueness and assert their rights. Before establishing her business in 2020, Lara completed a Level 2 diploma in Jewellery Design & Manufacturing at the British Academy of Jewellery in London. She followed this with a month’s work experience at goldsmiths Nicholas Wylde based in Bath and Bristol and a two-year apprenticeship work- ing full time at the bench. “I was thrown in at the deep end, which was the best way to learn about the industry and with a goldsmith that has been working for 30+ years.”
