Inspired by the fusion of art and wanderlust, visionary creative director Olufunke Afolabi explores the vibrant world of colours, pushing design boundaries with unparalleled craftsmanship. The brand believes in empowering wom- en to embrace their uniqueness, radiate confidence, and craft curated pieces to make them feel sensational. The enchanting sound of ‘The Four Seasons Concerto’ by Antonio Vivaldi played overhead as Elpis Megalio’s regal-themed collection graced the catwalk. The audience was introduced to the first look, a round-neck strapless lime green micro dress with a slight cone shape. The hue continued in the following micro dress featuring tassels on the waist and hem. It was worn under a maroon pattern bolero top that had the same colour as the laces on the corset, contrasting with the green. Afolabi experimented with a white corset with brown embroideries over a green jacket worn with polka dot tights. It then ascended into a green floor-length dress showing a multi-colour pattern train in the split at the back. Afterwards, it got glitzy with a sheer glittering crop top showing the model’s breasts and a low satin corset with tassels and a matching handbag. We got an insight into the medieval underskirt worn over a matching purple lingerie-like bodysuit with frills. The purple shade got darker with an overly ruched dress that seemed too long, as it looked challenging to walk in it. What came next was a delightful corseted piece with a flowing shawl draped across one shoulder and a skirt that floated as the model walked. The corset be- came more elaborate with high-tasselled shoulders and thighs.
