bitegadgets Bang & Olufsen Launches Limited-Edition Beosound Explore in collaboration with Two Time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso I n collaboration with the two-time F1 World Champion and brand ambassador Fernando Alonso, Bang & Olufsen has launched the limit- ed-edition Beosound Explore portable speaker. It has a navy blue aluminium finish, a light blue fabric interior and a navy blue carabiner contrasted by a strik- ing neon red fabric strap detail. This unique collabo- rative audio comes with Fernando Alonso's signature and lucky number laser etched on the speaker's upper rim and the strap's pin. Alonso’s track record as an F1 World Champion, dou- ble 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours Daytona win- ner have cemented his driving force in racing, sharing Bang & Olufsen’s legacy of championing excellence. He recently celebrated his 100th podium, a historic milestone only six drivers have achieved in Formu- la 1 history. Many admire his passion for continuous improvement, longevity in his sport, and rich history. This latest model is the third time the brand and racing driver have collaborated. “I have always used music as a training companion for maximum performance and when I mentally prepare for a race,” Alonso explained. “Music helps me balance my frame of mind before getting into the car whilst building adrenaline for the challenge ahead. Working with Bang & Olufsen on this collaboration has been my proud moment." With elements finished at Bang & Olufsen’s Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, the limited-edition Beosound Ex- plore features the brand’s signature sound and Scandi- navian design, built for durability. The speaker is the first to feature Type 2 anodised aluminium for im- proved scratch resistance, making it the perfect speak- er for outdoor activities. It has an IP67 certification, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. It also has up to 27 hours of play- time for maximum playing.
