T he demand for natural, vegan and sustainable products has spiralled widely within the beauty industry. More research and new developments are supporting the conscious cus- tomer. Eye Collection Starting with eye make-up, this is the most crucial part where I want the best application and attention. Eyebrows must always be well-defined as they are the frame of the face, and a well- groomed and designed brow is the key to a younger appearance. Brow Like Wow Eyebrow Palette The first mineral powder created by Annabelle Minerals is excel- lent for making precise, neat, elegant brows. The three naturally pressed powders come in two shades of matte brown and one translucent white powder allowing the adjustment of intensity colours. It’s infused with vitamin E, with a velvety texture, easy to blend and long-lasting. The shades can be used to create a natural or a more dramatic, darker eyebrow design. The best application tool for me is using a small smudge brush and applying the white-beige highlighter below the brow arch to brighten the area. With the second colour, a light cool grey- brown, use a diagonal liner to shade the inner part of the brow up to the arch. Then, finish with the third colour, a warmer, darker brown, to define the shape at the end of the brow. Mineral Eye Pigment This eye pigment is a super-charged explosion of sparkling powder—a weightless formula, rich in texture and smooth. The gem-like effect creates a dazzling glare of vibrant colours with a reflective finish. The Mineral Eye Pigment will enrich any eye make-up design and is long-lasting, non-creasing and easy to blend. Available in five shades, Pink Gold, a dusty pink; Amber, a classic gold; Electrum, a sparkling translucent; Ruby, a bold pink; and Sunstone, a warm brown/copper. The product can be used independently or applied to the eye- shadow to enhance eye designs. The best application is icing a small, flat eyeshadow brush, but I love to use my fingertips and gently tap it into the mobile lid. The Mineral Eye Pigments are fun; I love to add a little of their gorgeous sparkles on top of lip- stick and my cheekbone for an ultra-highlighting finish. Mineral Eyeshadows The finely grounded, loose eyeshadow powder is smooth, soft, and ideal for sensitive eyes. It’s long-lasting, easily blended, and non-creasing, and the pigmentation richness has a lovely satin finish, ideal for brightening the eyes for a fresher make-up look. The eyeshadows are available in 17 easily matched shades and are a perfect base for sparkling eye pigments. The shades are suitable for any skin tone and eye colour. It varies from the most natural colour, such as Vanilla, Cappuccino or Chocolate, to soft pinks in Candy or Lavender, to stronger hues of blue in Cornflower, grey in Blueberry and black in Smoky. I particularly love the simplicity of the packaging, with its rotat- ing top, Annabelle Minerals’ signature style, used across the light and adorable mineral powders. Cheeks and Lips One of my favourite products from the collection is Mineral Powder Blusher. The blusher is a combination of glorious glow and delicate coloured pigments combined with natural oils and vitamin E. The fine powder brings freshness and an energy boost to the skin, making a dull complexion look healthier and lumi- nous. Available in two beautiful shades, Peach Glow is a lovely peach-to-beige colour, and Lili Glow is a delicate floral pink. Both can be used on their own, mixed or matched to a matte finish blusher, or even used as eyeshadow. With a filter, the practical jar allows the exact amount of powder needed. The lovely easy-to-carry short-handle Flash Brush is the best way to apply it. The synthetic bristles are soft and dense, allowing them to pick up every drop of make-up. The round handle is comfortable, and the brush is excellent for applying the Mineral Foundation. Another brilliant tool is the awesome Jumbo Lip Pencil, an ex- cellent alternative for lipstick. Rich in vegetable oil, vitamin E and minerals, this lip pencil is luminous for maintaining soft and hydrated lips. Ever so smooth, the pencil leaves a velvety, fresh, semi-matte finish with a long-lasting, rich texture. It can be used as a pencil or to fill the whole lips. I love to mix and match var- ious shades, to create gorgeous pouts or ombré lip styles. The Jumbo Lip Pencil comes in five lovely shades: nudes in Clover and Marigold, rich red in Dahlia, sultry pink in Cranberry, and rich brown/red in Maroon. The eco-friendly pencil is designed with natural wood to support a plastic-free environment. Finally, another brilliant idea from Annabelle Minerals is the Reusable Make-Up Pads.
