bitemusicceleb an event hosted by Virgil Abloh Securities. The one-day music festival was held at the FPL Solar Amphitheatre in Miami, Florida, US, in 2022. The rapper continues to partner creatively and as the face of several clothing lines for luxury fashion houses like Helmut Lang and Saint Laurent. Other collaborations include Epic Games’ new merchan- dise launch of clothing, action figures and Nerf guns inspired by the Fortnite game and McDonald’s limited edition meal named ‘The Travis Scott’, a variation of the Quarter Pounder with cheese in 2020. It marked the first nationally distributed celebrity-endorsed McDonald’s meal in the chain’s history and the first celebrity meal since the 1992 ‘McJordan’ burger with Michael Jordan in the Chicago metropolitan area. Also, in 2020, Scott joined the PlayStation team as Stra- tegic Creative Partner to promote the PlayStation 5 con- sole alongside special merchandise, including an unseen version of Nike Dunk Lows. A special YouTube video showed the artist playing the console alongside fans, a pi- ano performance by English musician James Blake, and a tribute to late rapper Pop Smoke. The rapper is also one- half of the alternative hip-hop duo The Scotts with his mentor and frequent collaborator Kid Cudi. The artist has accumulated several accolades, including the People’s Champ Award for ‘Antidote’, at the BET Hip Hop Award’ in 2016 and Choice Electronic/Dance Song for ‘Know No Better’ with Major Lazer, Camila Cabello and Quavo at the Teen Choice Awards in 2017. He also won Best Collaboration for ‘Sicko Mode’ with Drake at the BET Awards, Video Director and Album of the Year for Astroworld at the BET Hip Hop Awards, Top Stream- ing Audio Song for ‘Sicko Mode’ at the Billboard Music Awards in 2019 and Best Hip Hop at the MTV Video Mu- sic Awards in 2021. While he has been teasing his fourth studio album Utopia for a while, now set to be released in July 2023, Travis Scott appears to give us a remastered AI video version of ‘Pressure’, showing artwork of the artist with ‘Utopia’ written across his back. “Utopia is something people feel is farfetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind. But you create it yourself,” he explained. “There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that is the most you can have.” Perhaps, when the album finally drops, we will experi- ence utopia once we hear the tracks. www.travisscott.com
