bitecatwalk P rints, knits and textures, oh my! I have few words to de- scribe my love of this Dolores Cortes’ designs. She un- derstands what makes bohemian-chic somehow utterly elegant and feminine. This SS23 was inspired by the intricate and complex colourful textile designs of Bauhaus by Anni Al- bers. These geometric prints and patterns were used in a beau- tiful and all-inclusive array of swimwear, slinky maxi dresses and glamorous coverups paraded down the white runway that featured geometrical structures and a projected video on the back wall that gave a sense of infinity to onlookers. The stark whiteness of the catwalk provided an ideal blank can- vas for this definitive rainbow-coloured collection. Out of this massive line-up, I couldn’t help but be inspired by the overall styling of the looks. Everything was perfection, from the fan- tastic head scarves and dramatic statement-making jewellery to the glistening gold ankle wrap heeled sandals and hair and make-up; I want all of it!
