A Seasonal Tale bitefashion O OLARI Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Gilberto was born into a fam- ily that appreciates the renowned Italian timeless fashion, tra- dition and quality. His parents were fabric salespersons and store managers for high-end boutiques, whose passion for fashion was seamlessly absorbed by their son. From an early age, the would-be designer witnessed trendsetting European style and saw it first-hand during the Italian couture’s iconic years. Unsurprisingly, he pursued fashion and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, in Milan, which marked the beginning of working with the most respected and renowned luxury brands in his homeland. As people noticed his talent, Gilberto soon became a senior designer, developing a strong passion and talent for dresses and flou (structured and fitted tailoring). The garments he created for these brands appeared on the covers of major fashion magazines, runways and red carpet events. He established his high-end sustainable namesake brand in 2015.
