Jada Brookes looks at some of the latest gadgets and developments in the tech market. New Gadgets on the Go bitegadgets Images courtesy of Audio Pro S wedish speaker specialist Audio Pro has updated their award-winning Drumfire speaker duo to a next-gener- ation version with an audio upgrade and more preset options. It now gives users three ways to enjoy their music in every room through AirPlay 2, GoogleCast, and Audio Pro multi-room system. As before, the company offers the option to only buy the upper speaker without the lower subwoofer, which also comes with AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. Like its predecessor, the Drumfire D-2 can easily sit on a bench or a shelf and deliver a stylish sound; it remains a sol- id alternative if you cannot find floor space for the complete Drumfire II. The preset buttons have increased to six, and it quickly starts your favourite playlist or radio channel with a simple push of a button directly on the speaker without hav- ing to open the app on your phone. Both speakers also offer Spotify Connect and Bluetooth. The playful suggestion that Drumfire's powerful sound would make neighbours complain about a concert next door has been made in many product tests worldwide. The Scandina- vian company expects the sequel Drumfire II and Drumfire D-2 to meet the same results. "Drumfire will probably be met with the same positive criticism that it has only gotten even better. We believe it will continue to 'rock on' at our consum- ers' homes for many years," Jens Henriksen, CCO for Audio Pro, said. Another mighty portable powerhouse is the rain-resistant A15 speaker that can be used in the garden or open spaces. It has a fabric-covered front previously featured in the A10, G10, A26 and A36. The speaker intends to complement the new range without drawing away from the original aesthetic. “With our products, you tailor-make your multi-room sys- tem and choose from different sizes and looks based on the character of that specific room. With the A15, you can extend your multi-room system into the garden since it can be as big as your WiFi reaches,” said Henriksen. Like the Drumfire II, the A15 offers three multi-room sys- tems: AirPlay 2, Google Cast and Audio Pro multi-room system. It has a powerful battery that gives users 11 hours of quality sound at the half-volume level. The battery lasts just over eight hours for loud parties with the full volume on the speaker. "Our speaker is IPX2 rated, meaning it can with- stand rain and has a handle that is ingeniously designed using the speaker's port, meaning we have created a speaker with a rather neat and precise look.” www.audiopro.com/en Audio Pro Drumfire II and Weath- erproof A15 Portable Sound Ready to Rock Your World
