Following her last single, ‘Descontro- lada’ (Out of Control) featuring MC Carol, ‘Ameianoite’ high- lights Vittar’s charismatic vocals and penchant for hypnotic beats. The music video, directed by Fernando Nogari, features energetic dance moves, an intimate kiss between the two art- ists and an underlining political message. At the time of the video release, Vittar celebrated former right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro's election defeat to new president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. She had protested against Bolsonaro's misogynist rhetoric and anti-LGBTQIA+ policies for the past four years. In addition to making appearances at rallies along Lula da Silva's campaign trail, Vittar contributed to the incoming leftist president's triumphant run as a singer featured on the campaign's official song. Vittar first conquered the Brazilian market with her sensation- al 2017 debut album Vai Passar Mal (It’s Going To Be Bad), featuring club-ready singles ‘K.O.’ and ‘Corpo Sensual’. She is reported to be the most-followed drag queen on social me- dia with 35+ million followers across all platforms and earned glowing editorial coverage in Rolling Stone, Paper, Vogue Bra- zil, GQ Brazil, Harper’s Bazaar, Gay Times and countless other outlets.
