The Bite Magazine - Autumn/Winter 2022 - Issue 32
FRANCESCA LIBERATORE bitefashion W hile Francesca Liberatore expertly presented her AW22 collection, and the runway show was flawlessly exe- cuted, I needed to grasp the mindset more pre- cisely. Was it based on the idea of conceptual- ised murder, the psychological understanding of life and death, and the action taken to produce the direct result of the other? That aside, the clothing itself was quite fetching and exciting, a bit scattered, but it had a heavy nod towards retro-inspired silhouettes and styling. Being one who finds the macabre fascinating, I loved the weapon, crime scene, muted leopard prints and jacquard prints, as well as the fine knitwear, one expects to find in an Autumn-Winter show. I wasn’t ready for the head trip down the rabbit hole of deciphering what came first, the bang or the cry, during a time when death is an even more ever-too-present reality today. https://www.francescaliberatore.it
