Since 2003, Joanna has exhibited more in the UK than in central Europe but wishes to travel more often. “I am sure I will enjoy exhibiting in America.” The Women United Art Prize 2021 finalist has shown her solo work ‘Intimate Times’ series in the Memories in Hindsight group showing at J/MGallery in Notting Hill, Press Play exhibition at Fitz- rovia Gallery, Dreaming Flowers at the Art Mums United in New York, the United States and The Other Art Fair at the Old Truman Brewery in London. Recently, she was involved in group exhibitions such as Di- vine Feminine at Art From Heart and A Thousand Words at The Curator’s Salon in London. The Rise/Create! Maga- zine and We Create/Women United Art Movement virtual exhibitions took place in the United States. She also exhib- ited at The Other Art Fair summer edition in King’s Cross at the end of June, followed by a solo exhibition at Oink Gallery in Swindon in July until August and will be at the StART Art Fair in Saatchi Gallery in October. The artist has appeared in publications and on art-in- spired websites such as The Visionary Projects, Visionary Art Collective, Original Magazine, Create Magazine, The Artist Lounge, Mixx Atelier, The Curator’s Salon, All She Makes, and The Huts Magazine in 2021. This year she was interviewed or had her work shown again in publications Create Magazine and The Huts Magazine and on websites All She Makes, New Visionary, and Art Seen. Next year, Joanna would like to exhibit at the Affordable Art Fair and keep exploring the possibilities of showing in more countries. For aspiring artists, she provided sound advice. “Listen to yourself and trust your intuition. Believe in your skills, be honest with yourself, experiment and have fun while making art,” she said. “When you discover this special subject or technique which will help you ex- press your feelings and emotions and make you feel happy, explore it even more.” Furthermore, she added, “Be consistent in your language but also find ways to learn more and evolve. Don’t compare your art to other established artists.
