biteartistreview I magine a world without people! What would it look like? Would it be filled with buildings fashioned by unseen hands or lengthy, dense uninhabited land? Would there be oxygen levels or clean air? Would photosynthesis be active if there were trees and plants? These and many other questions probably ran through artists Suanjaya Kencut, Daniel Rich and Jingyi Wang’s minds when they considered the subject of cities or worlds without human species for their art presenta- tions at Mucciaccia Gallery in London. In 2006, art curator Massimiliano Mucciaccia opened Galleria Mucciac- cia in the historical centre of Rome, Italy. His career path was influenced by his upbringing in a family of gallerists and art patrons and surround- ed by an entourage of artists, curators and specialists. He opened a sec- ond space in the beautiful setting of the Dolomite Mountains, which became known as an exclusive corner in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where art lovers and collectors gathered during the winter. Six years later, Massimiliano opened the Mucciaccia Gallery in the pres- tigious green district of Gillman Barracks, Singapore. This cultural hub showcases 20th-century artists and first-time solo exhibitions for inter- national artists and creatives from the region. It also hosts a well-diverse events programme for artistic, thought-provoking debates. In 2016, the London branch was opened in the heart of Mayfair, exploring the works of artists and sculptors who seek new art approaches in the 21st century. Jingyi Wang Jingyi Wang’s Juvenile
