Images courtesy of Satellite414 S outh London rapper Ms Banks released her latest single and music video for ‘Bounce’ via Platoon from her forthcoming mixtape Bank Statement, which will be out in July. The music video shows the artist putting on a sultry show whilst flitting between a soft, vulnerable nature and a powerful, in- charge persona. Speaking about the mixtape, Ms Banks said, “A bank statement is necessary to prove a multitude of things, proof of address, proof of income and proof of name. My Bank Statement proves that women are multifac- eted; we can be soft and vulnerable but also boss and tough. My Bank Statement proves I am versatile and can make bangers whilst killing any beat I jump on.” This year, the artist has performed on stage in numerous countries, including Belgium and Germany and most recently, at the Strawberries and Creem Festival. She will be playing at the Wireless Festival, Rolling Loud, Open Air, Solnaro and more from July to November 2022. Since she started music professionally in 2014, Ms Banks has featured at the 2019 Brit Awards with Lit- tle Mix, BBC Radio 1 Xtra Live 2019, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2020, Fire in the Booth, XXL Freshman Cover 2020 shortlist and a BET Hip Hop Awards nomination. The rapper has achieved combined global streams of over 60 million, a string of sold-out UK shows and co- signs from Nicki Minaj and Cardi B after supporting them on the UK leg of their world tours.
