The music video for the track was directed by Alev Aydin, her partner, and saw the singer coordinating a scene but notices something’s wrong. As she watches the male character, alternating between pigtails and a blue-dyed bob with matching make-up, she sings about a guy she lost to another woman but still hasn’t gotten over him. Halsey has amassed over 31 billion combined global streams, including more than 12.5 billion US streams and sold nearly 17 million adjusted album units worldwide. She is an artist that pushes creative boundaries, exerting influence and im- pact beyond music. She is the author of I Would Leave Me If I Could: A Collection of Poetry which debuted on The New York Times Best Sellers in 2020. She was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020 and has won over 20 awards, including an AMA, MTV, VMA, GLAAD Music Award, the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Hal David Starlight Award and a CMT Music Award. She ven- tured into the beauty industry with her ‘about-face’ brand, a multi-dimensional make-up line designed for everyone. The artist advocates fundamental causes such as disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ com- munity. Halsey will headline the Leeds and Reading Festivals this year over the August bank holiday, playing Leeds on Friday 26 and Reading on Sunday 28. Recently, she celebrated the fifth anni- versary of her second studio album, Hopeless Fountain King- dom , released in 2017, which the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) certified double Platinum. These al- bums and the 2021 If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart.
