OXFORD FASHION HOUSE bitecatwalk TXS Design House S ocially responsible and sustainable luxury brand TSX Design House found- ed by Ebony Adell in 2002, is based on chakra energy and aura pigmentation. The designer’s mission is to transform the fashion industry by creating luxury sustain- able products and services that en- courage consumers to participate in a socially conscious, sustainable lifestyle. “Sustainable fashion is our call to action in the revolution to combat socio-environmental oppression,” Ebony said. “We also specialise in protest art, visual mantras, Ebele Skincare, chakra activation, Yance, and a book series entitled ‘SxEye- con’. The brand’s limited-edition sustaina- ble urban couture collections include lingerie, casual wear, handbags, athletic wear, and chakra gowns. Transcend8 is an eight-piece sus- tainable luxury collection inspired by the chakras of the seven Orishas plus Yemoja, mother of all Orishas (Universal Mother). Opening with the chakra of Olodumare (Creator of the World) and closing with the chakra of Yemoja, the energy from the clothes activates every woman’s goddess chakra. https://oxfordfashionstudio.com A imee Nielsen graduated with a Fashion Design de- gree and a Motion Graph- ics Design Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, USA. She also achieved a UI/UX Product Design Certificate from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. If that wasn’t enough, Aimee is a li- censed attorney in Florida and the District of Columbia. The designer premiered her first collection in 2018, which proved to be a huge success allowing her to showcase future designs in two New York Fashion Week runway shows. Her new collection, ‘A Tempesta- de’, is inspired by the symbolic natural phases of a storm: the still- ness before the storm, the storm itself and the destruction followed by the encounter with the forces humanity has never been able to control. This idea of a storm en- counter seamlessly intertwines with inspirations from the 16th and 17th centuries. The collection incorporates menswear, womens- wear, and gender-neutral pieces while utilising hand embroidery, draping, pleating, and tailoring techniques. Aimee’s previous work has been featured in La Botanica Magazine, Newsweek, PopSugar, and Zimbio and displayed at the Fashion In- stitute of Technology Museum in New York. The designer maintains a namesake couture line and an active/sport line, Nielsena Sport. Her designs are available for ce- lebrity styling through The Trend- haus in Los Angeles, California, USA. https://oxfordfashionstudio.co m AIMEE NIELSEN FASHION WEEK LONDON Spring/Summer 2022
