bitefashion I t’s a welcomed fantasy come true! Very shortly, the world is pandemic dis- ease-free and global citizens are free to travel wherever they wish. So, for the winter season, we decide to go skiing in the Alps to embrace both the glittering white frosty snow and the thrill of the challenging slopes. What bet- ter way to enjoy this adrenaline and exhilarating adventure than being fully equipped in stylish winter clothing from German ski and outerwear brand Bogner. Bogner has served the skiing community since Willy Bogner Senior estab- lished his namesake ski company in 1932, importing skis, equipment and Norwegian knitwear. However, it wasn’t until 1971 that the first ski collection ‘Formula W’ was launched by his son, Willy Bogner Junior featuring an in- novative nylon material mix that he produced himself. This Autumn-Winter, the brand chose Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and business metropolis as the perfect setting to show their new AW21 collection, where urban sophistication meets Alpine elegance. The style handwriting and wearability of the collection allows it to move freely from the city to the slopes. For the ladies, the focus is on the lacquer jacket with a high-gloss, water repel- lent finish and for gentlemen, it’s overshirts, down coats and biker jackets in the classic Bogner athluxury style. The five-star luxury Kulm Hotel in St Moritz is a place that fuses luxury and fashion, and also celebrates the glamorous flair of the Alps. Winter holidays in the mountains were invented in Kulm, which later became home to the world’s first Cresta run, where guests could ride down on a toboggan sledge. Whether you’re on the slopes or relaxing by a hot coal fire, take advantage of the ski jackets and trousers, fleece and hybrid jackets, and loungewear from Bogner’s AW21 collection. One of Bogner’s eye-catching designs is the Fanja Down Parka in Off-White/ Black in a smooth technical fabric with an all-over alpine print. It has a high stand-up collar, fixed hood, drawstring bands in logo jacquard and zip pock- ets to accentuate the look, created from recycled fibres with a water-repellent finish. Thermal insulating duck down padding makes the jacket even more comfortable to wear, which is finished off with an integrated zip with texture facing on the back for an adjustable silhouette. The modern Sibel Lambskin Coat in Black/Off-White has a zip-on hood that makes it a luxurious key piece for the winter season. The design is character- ised by a high stand-up collar with sophisticated straps for fastening, which is functionally complemented by adjustable pockets and the brand’s signature two-way zip with a ‘B’ logo pendant.
