caramelised taste. I also liked the strips of onion bhajis and the curried cauliflower. Because the dishes were so marginally light, we had plenty of room for dessert: Golden Raisin, Bergamot and White Chocolate Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Cremeux Tartlet with vanilla ice cream and pistachio. The brûlée was served in the biggest dessert dish I have ever seen which made me most happy as it is one of my favourite after-dinner delights. It was both creamy and dreamy with a nice crispy topping. The Chocolate Cremeux Tartlet was chocolate heaven without being too much and the pistachios gave it a nice finesse. To finish off our wonderful and delicious dining expe- rience, we had coffee with Amaretto chocolate truffles which were lightly dusted with cocoa and made a nice compliment to a coffee or tea infusions. On Sundays, Ganymede serves a roast dinner with corn-fed chicken or sirloin of beef and all the trimmings including Yorkshire pudding and fluffy roast potatoes. There is also a crisp suckling pork belly with garnish purée and pommel cocotte or plant-based diners can opt for the impressive cauliflower steak. Desserts such as treacle tart and clotted cream, apple and blackberry crumble or spiced pineapple carpaccio would make a good ending to your meal. Ganymede is open Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 12 am, Saturdays from 10 am to 12 am and Sundays from 12 pm to 11 pm.
