The Bite Magazine - Autumn/Winter 2021 - Issue 30
bitefashion The second collection had a similar theme to the first but with subtler designs and collars, lots of pearls and textured lace. The bridal wear was feminine and modernly designed with fabric features that complimented it. Sylvia likes to focus more on the fabrics and texture to make a statement. Her premium collections radiated confidence and strength with a strong focus on class, femininity and appreciation for all shapes, sizes and body curves. The Preby London Bridal Collection Fashion Show perfectly displayed the essence of the bridal themes with vibrant colours showing on the sparkly, flowing long dresses. Each model that walked the runway posed with meaning, value and purpose, ensuring that every shot cap- tured of them projected sensual assertive energy, with a hinted flirtation to exude woman power. It was clear they owned their sexy but striking atti- tude, with undeniable elegance, sophistication and purpose. It was nice to see diversity represented amongst the models partaking in the catwalk show. The lighting majestically captured the beauty of their complexions, glowing make-up and youthful appearances. The make-up was extremely light, delicate and undertoned, which complimented both collections divinely. The venue was well lit and featured a white backdrop that also comple- mented the bridal dresses perfectly. The catwalk presentation was an experience to remember. After the finale, Sylvia walked out onto the catwalk alongside her models and blessed everyone with her presence, appearing humble and modest by the reaction to her stun- ning designs and the inspirational impact that influenced fellow bridal wear fashion designers. I am looking forward to seeing more of Preby London, the expansion of Sylvia’s designs and attending more of her fashion shows of course! Admittedly, the alcoholic and non-alcoholic cock- tails were to die for and let’s not get started on the chocolate gooey brownies. But most impor- tantly, the atmosphere was refreshing - everyone networked and exchanged business cards for further collaborations after the show. It was truly a beautiful space where you saw others inter- acting with the models and the photographers
