bitemusicceleb I t appears that American rapper G-Eazy has had more ladies on his arm than perhaps Alex Rodri- guez or John Mayer. With his relationship antics under the radar, he has been linked to a few beauties, including Britney Spears, whom he performed with at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on her ‘Make Me’ track that rendered the ‘almost-in-for-the-kiss’ moment, which supposedly flopped. However, due to their on-stage chemistry and touchy-feely vibes, people assumed something physical was happening between them. In an interview with 92.3 AMP radio shortly after the VMAs, Britney was asked whether or not G-Ea- zy tried to kiss her, but she shrugged it off and said she didn’t think so because he had a girlfriend at the time. However, when the rapper spoke to Paper Magazine , he admitted he almost laid one on her but panicked. “I walked out and saw Kanye West, and everybody in their seats, staring up at me…I kinda blacked out. I forgot a word or two in my verse. I got thrown off. When I went for it, I should have fully gone for it.” At the 2017 Coachella, Lana Del Rey and G-Eazy were seen canoodling for the entire weekend-long festival. “They barely left one another’s side and looked very lovey-dovey,” an insider source told Mirror Online at the time. “They were kissing and whispering in each other’s ears.” While she danced to Kendrick Lamar’s performance, G-Eazy was watch- ing her more than the stage. He had initially planned for Del Rey to feature on his track ‘Him & I’ but teamed up with Halsey instead. The collaboration on ‘Him & I’ led to the rapper and singer-songwriter Halsey (real name Ashley) dat- ing for a year. At the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Halsey claimed that G-Eazy relentlessly pursued her in the beginning. “He was really persistent,” she said. “He really wanted to hang out and wanted me to like him a lot. [So] it took me a while to be like, ‘Fine. Ok, I like you back.” However, things got complicat- ed when the rapper was arrested in Sweden for drug possession and allegedly harassing security guards. The couple split several months later, then report- edly got back together shortly after that but end- ed things for the second and final time in October 2018. Halsey claimed their relationship eroded due to G-Eazy’s unfaithful behaviour. During a Feb- ruary 2019 SNL performance of ‘Without Me’, the stage was covered with the words, “I’m sorry Ash- ley, I cheated,” along with the names of specific cities where the apparent betrayals took place.
