Vivienne’s designs have been featured in various fashion magazines like WWD (Women’s Wear Daily), Cosmopol- itan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Art and Designs, and Elegant. She has had seven consecutive runway shows at New York Fashion Week since September 2014, attended by celebri- ties such as Whoopi Goldberg, Anya Taylor-Joy, Clara Lee, Paloma Ford and Eva Gutowski. She also showcased her Fall/Winter 2015 collection at Shenzhen Fashion Week in China. In July 2015, she was selected as a Swarovski Collective Designer for the Spring/Summer 2016 NYFW show, which exhibited a blend of classic European elegance and New York downtown style, with a touch of exotic Asian taste. Two years later, she debuted her Vivienne Hu Acces- sories line alongside her ready-to-wear collection at her Spring/Summer 2018 runway show, inspired by Amman, the capital of Jordan, which included handbags, shoes, and sunglasses. The successful Fall/Winter 2018 collection took inspira- tion from the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes (also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes) located in the National Park in Jiuquan, China. Vivienne released new fashion sneakers in partnership with Tencent QQ, which attract- ed attention from fashion buyers such as Zappos. In 2019, the designer received the USC Pacific Asia Museum Gala Visionary Artist Award and became the only Chinese de- signer selected by Saga Furs for sponsorship that year. Her SS21 collection is a sensation of elegant and stylish dresses, jumpsuits, satiny suits and smart wear that catches the eye. The Black Corded Lace Fitted Dress made from lustrous silk and skimmed at the waistline accentuates the figure. This slip dress with white double face charmeuse, spaghetti straps, slit on the side, a zipper on the back, and a mix and match fabric of black corded lace add an elegant taste to the design and can be worn for both professional and leisure occasions. The Shoulder Padded Jumpsuit in Light Purple is an easy- to-go piece with a slim bodice connected to wide-leg pants. The French piping seams falling from the neck- line to the legs elongate the proportion of the body and enhanced visual appeal. It has hidden side pockets at the waistline convenient for any occasion, a round neck and corded belt, shoulder pads, unique square panel details, Japanese taro cupro and zipper closure on the back. Simple but quite impressive is the Balloon Sheer Sleeve Shirt in White, made from 100% polyester. It’s designed with a point collar, sheer sleeves, unique square panel detail, and puffy shoulders. The button-down shirt is cut from a contrast use of line on the bodice only. The over- sized puffy lantern sleeves with a semi-fitted bodice make it wearable for both day and night events. Chic with a retro aristocratic style, the High-Low Black Capemade from100% silk has a simple four-button closure and ruffled detailing throughout. The elegant backswing is distinctive, luxurious and noble, and the black silk has aristocratic elegance. Its soft and smooth fabric brings an appealing skin feel. You can switch different styles by matching the black cape with a skirt or trousers. The off-the-shoulder Triangle Lace Shirt in White is cut for a clean and simple design.
