At the core of the DALI range for half a decade, the brand de- cided it was time to respectfully update and improve the well-respected high-performance series with new ideas, technologies, and a fresh modern aesthetic. The six model series benefits from the latest in new tech- nologies and innovations to offer class-leading perfor- mance that defines True Hi-Fi. DALI OPTICON 1 MK2 The compact OPTICON 1 MK2 is excellent for easy installation near room boundaries or wall-mounting in smaller listening rooms. Thanks to the Dual Flare reflex-loaded 5-litre, the bass performance integrates naturally with the 4¾-inch Wood Fibre diaphragm, SMC (Soft Magnet Compound) magnet bass/mid- range unit, and the newly designed 29 mm soft dome tweeter of the DALI CALLISTO series. The OPTI- CON 1 MK2 is a discreet and compact, yet powerful speaker. DALI OPTICON 2 MK2 The OPTICON 2 MK2 features a 29 mm soft dome tweeter which has been derived from the DALI CAL- LISTO series. Its 6½-inch Wood Fibre diaphragm, SMC magnet bass/midrange driver, and larger 10-li- tre cabinet allows this speaker to achieve a greater low-frequency bandwidth and volume level. The ac- companying stand mount speaker helps to produce hi-fi quality sound in compact to medium-sized lis- tening rooms, offering the space for it to deliver its dy- namic and well-defined audio performance. DALI OPTICON 6 MK2 Slim and elegant, the floor-standing OPTICON 6 MK2 serves as the series’ entry point for DALI’s fa- mous hybrid soft dome and the DALI ribbon tweet- er. The low frequencies and midrange are handled by twin 6½-inch Wood Fibre diaphragm, SMC magnet bass/midrange drivers. The result is a combination of remarkable bass performance with midrange clarity and a significantly advanced level of high-frequency resolution. DALI OPTICON 8 MK2 OPTICON 8 MK2, the powerhouse of the new OPTI- CONMK2 series, stands at 44.9-inch tall and provides a new gateway to magical sound, music, and cinematic experiences. This large-scale, three-way speaker offers the highest level of performance in the range. It unites a large SMC based low-frequency bass driver, enabling huge volume potential and dynamic accuracy, with the impressive detail and clarity from the dedicated SMC midrange driver. DALI OPTICON LCR MK2 The on-the-wall OPTICON LCR MK2 offers a genu- ine hi-fi performance beyond its compact dimensions. Its multipurpose enclosure is suitable for almost any situation from a traditional stereo set-up, to TV audio, or multi-channel home cinema applications with an all-round and surprisingly varied source for excellent sound reproduction. The wall-assisted reflex port sys- tem, 6½-inch Wood Fibre diaphragm, SMC magnet bass/midrange driver and the rotatable hybrid tweeter module collaborate in perfect synergy. DALI OPTICON VOKAL MK2 The OPTICON VOKAL MK2 is the dedicated centre channel of the new OPTICON MK2 series. It unites the 6½-inch Wood Fibre diaphragm, SMC magnet bass/midrange driver, and the hybrid tweeter, mak- ing it the perfect partner for any speaker in the MK2 series. The enclosure dimensions and proportions are specifically configured to enable its installation in audio-visual furniture units, and its front face reflex ports mean that even fully enclosed mounting is fea- sible. The OPTICON MK2 series 1, 2, 6, LCR and VOKAL are available in three stylish new finishes: Satin White, Satin Black, and Tobacco Oak.
