The Bite Magazine - Spring/Summer 2020 - Issue 27

bite nightout and audience become inextricably intertwined. Everybody seems so close like you want to touch it and feel it as if it is actually real. The dancer bows down before taking her place at the bar that’s in the middle of the room. With slow, seductive movements, the performer starts taking off layers from her body and is left wearing a skin-tight sheer white catsuit. She is moving slowly and carefully while wearing extravagant shoes like those that you would see in Lady Gaga’s music videos. After a short break, a second dancer appears wearing all red and dances to Lana del Rey music. It is the magic and allure of a woman and, particularly, a dancer who knows better than anyone else her own body, and also becomes the gaze of a man but through her own will. No one but the dancers and performers could feel the audience better; they can sense in- tuitively what turns you on and in this matter will control you even for that very short moment you are going to remember for a very long time. She dances with streamers and performs a soft striptease with confetti at the end. What metaphor could that be, you would ask yourself? It becomes hotter than ever when a couple take centre stage - the girl is tied up while walking in ballerina pointe shoes. Powerful, confident man and woman, the most amazing and natural form of art for many hundred years before us and most likely long after us. We could say the predator and prey are at its best just like those stuffed animals that are hanging on the walls of the room. Sexual energy is created by the dy- namic force of the man and the receptive force of the woman. The temptation is everywhere and it's magical. In the back- ground, they played Crazy in Love by Beyoncé from the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack that takes you on a different journey. We could assume that such popularity in movies and music like 50 Shades of Grey suggests just how much people really would like to be free in their sensuality. The atmosphere in the room was just like Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing . This act is the art of teasing at its best. With intervals between each performance, it felt like the crea- tive choice to extend the breaks in between the dances created anticipation for millions of possibilities that could be present- ed to the audience. It was like getting every drop of juice out of all of those experiences. You could not rush that; it would be like a risk missing the best parts. It felt like savouring, mix- ing it and letting it boil until it is ready to be served. When the dominatrix woman reappears from the audience and onto the stage it becomes a power play: who has it, how long you have it for, and what you do with it? Her confidence, attitude and pose left everyone speechless. “Eroticism is as- senting to life even in death.” We assume that's how intellectu- al Georges Bataille would put it, and would perfectly describe the performance if he had the chance to watch it, or ‘Ascent from the Underworld’ by Anne O. Nomis, who summed up her journey in discovering the world of the dominatrix. One of the final acts was mistresses of seduction playing with fire; more like wax play, high-sensation element in choreo- graphed dance-play. The two performers were great seduc- tresses and created sensual energy in the air, heightening the senses of pleasure and satisfaction. The play of power is always intriguing to men, but when it comes from two females not many of them can handle it well. An appealing pull-and-push game that seems to be never-ending, it will cast you under their spell. For those that have never experienced magic or do not believe in it... the last act reappeared just like magic; an act that took place in the aerial hoop. Beautiful and seductive choreogra- phy performed by a breathtaking dancer while she wore an alluring costume. It was innovative and definitely presented in Helmut Newton fashion. It has fascinated human beings for centuries and still is the magnetism and sexuality that cap- tivates and allures us into its magical realm of existence and, just like the aerial hoop, keeps us in its never-ending circle. Power, lust, sexuality, and sensuality are undeniably the strongest forces that exist in every human being. Many deny it and do not want to acknowledge it but Nude Noir allows you to feel free. The attraction of eroticism is within many of us but we are so timid and afraid to reveal it. Always preoccupied with others’ opinions, wants and needs, we are afraid to really say who we are what we want or need. Seducated - that is how I felt upon leaving the venue. Seduced
