T he collection is inspired by nostalgia for that time and place we have never directly experienced, but have felt while holding old postcards in our hands. Wanting to revive the old postcards, Ana Ljubinković created a collection of simple, straight and clean lines that remind us of a piece of paper. The silhouettes of ancient Belgrade are recognisable, as well as the names of streets that no longer exist – these silhouettes have the power to transport us to the past. At last, the images on the clothing pixelate before our eyes and then become abstract. The silhouettes are inspired by the 1960s.
