bite travel W ith stunning beachfront and unique dining experiences, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai, is showcasing the exotic blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine known as ‘Nikkei’ with the launch of its new pop-up Kayto. Japanese-Argentinian Chef Cristian Goya has put together a menu that fuses the Peruvian-Nikkei flavours and can be served with a selection of Japanese-inspired cock- tails, mocktails, and varieties of sake crafted by an in-house mixologist. The place to discover and be discovered in, Kayto will impress guests with its refreshed décor in a soft nude colour palette, secluded outdoor seating areas and spectacular views of the ever-iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. The stunning sunset set- ting is paired with the upbeat sounds of a live DJ set six days a week, creating an effortlessly cool atmosphere. To encourage sharing, Chef Goya’s innovative new menu fea- tures everything from fresh cevi- che, special sushi nigiri, and rolls, to robust meat dishes, showcasing the authentic flavours of Japan and South America such as miso, yuzu, truffle, and lime. Guests can enjoy the likes of Roasted Langoustines in a sweet and sour sauce and Miso Caramelised Eggplant, followed by an expertly prepared Crudo. Signature dishes include Saikyo Miso Black Cod, Australian Wagyu Beef Tataki, and Corn-Fed Chick- en Breast with truffle teriyaki sauce while the delicious dessert options consist of a selection of Mochi, Cheesecake Brûlée served with Mandarin sorbet or espresso glace. Kayto pop-up is a representation of Jumeirah’s ambitious plans to elevate the dining experience, led by Chief Culinary Officer, Michael Ellis.
