Bose Launch New Lens Collection for Revolutionary Bose Frames bite gadgets Images courtesy of Bose B ose Frames, the revolutionary multi-weara- ble that combines the protection and appear- ance of premium sunglasses, the functional- ity and performance of wireless headphones, and the world’s first audio augmented reality platform has been enhanced with a new gradient and mirrored lenses from the Bose Frames Lens Collection. Whilst it may look like the world’s most iconic eyewear, it features the tiniest, thinnest, most lightweight Bose system ever. With a proprietary open-ear design, Bose Frames take micro-acoustics, voice control, and personal audio to an entirely new level, so that users can stream music and information, take and make calls, and access vir- tual assistants while keeping playlists, entertainment, and conversations private. Now in two timeless de- signs - the square and angled Alto and the round and smaller Rondo - they both block up to 99% of UVA/ UVB rays, weigh a mere 45 grams and come with uni- formly tinted lenses. There’s a Blue Gradient, non-polarised lens for both styles, and different polarised options for each - Mir- rored Silver for Alto and Mirrored Rose Gold for Ron- do. All versions complement Bose Frames’ modern and minimal accents, including the gold-plated steel hinges and charging pins. They also offer the same protection, scratch, and shatter resistance as the prod- uct’s standard lenses. It functions as a truly wireless headphone with en- gineering that crushes the limitations of size-to-per- formance for personal listening. Instead of an ear- bud, a minuscule, wafer-thin acoustic package is set seamlessly in each arm’s interior to produce discreet, jaw-dropping sound for the user, and no one else. For touch and voice control, an ultra-small microphone and multi-function button are embedded in the right temple for power and pairing, Siri and Google Assis- tant, calls and commands, or to pause and skip songs. Bose AR compatible, the first commercial product embedded with the Bose audio augmented reality platform, it doesn’t change what you see, integrates an obtrusive camera lens, or require your phone’s cam- era to superimpose objects in your sightline. Instead, it knows where you are and what you’re facing using a 9-axis head motion sensor and GPS from your iOS or Android device and automatically adds a layer of audio through Bose AR apps. Bose Frames use a lithium battery that connects to an included pogo-pin cable for charging. At average listening levels, they run up to 3.5 hours for playback and up to 12 hours on standby and can be fully re- charged in less than two hours. For smudges and stor- age, they come with a cloth bag and a protective case. Bose Frames are available in Matte Black and two uni- versal styles, the larger (Alto) and the smaller (Ron- do). Bose AR apps can be found in the Bose Connect app and the iOS App Store. Bose Frames and accessories are available at Bose stores, online and through select resellers. www.bose.co.uk
