bite spa review the skin becomes more nourished, oxygenated and feels firmer. It was back out and straight into the sauna, sanar- ium and steam room again. Thirsty? Jugs of iced water infused with slices of lemon, orange, and cucumber are placed at the refreshment station so you can replenish your fluids while sweating away. After finishing the third thermal circuit to gather full benefits of hot and cold therapies, my body was restored and detoxified. I left the Wet Spa with an unrivalled feeling of euphoria ready for my mini, deep-freeze face treatment. After filling in a short health questionnaire, I was taken into one of the six treatment rooms. Following a quick consultation about my skin and discussion about what attracted me to the Cryo-Oxygen facial, which of course is my de- sire to glow eternally and diminish tiny lines around the eyes, my K Spa technician walked me through the four simultaneous treatment modal- ities included in the delivery system: Cryo-Ox- ygen, Micro-Channelling Roller, Product Infu- sion and Puncture Jet Oxygen. Having combination skin, I picked a hydrating serum to address my dryness concerns in the un- der the eye and cheeks areas. At the start, I was pre-warned me that this treatment is nothing like any of pampering facials I've had before with a massage. The machine is very noisy, so you may not be able to drift away easily. While active ingredients are pushed into the dermis to replace lost moisture and encourage collagen growth, the simultaneously delivered Cryo-Ox- ygen cools and oxygenates the skin. Sounds scary? I reassure you there is nothing to fear. The sensation feels very cold and more like a scratch. It was a tiny bit painful on my cheeks, perhaps due to the dry patches. Things took a futuristic turn with controlled jets of super-cool oxygen air to soothe and help my skin better absorb ingredients. My face was thoroughly worked on in two sections, including my neck and décolleté area. It took about 15 minutes to blast both sides. All entirely worthwhile for the grand finale of wonderfully nourishing crystal-clear mask to top up my moisture reserves and firm up my skin. While the mask was working its nutri- ent-delivering magic on my skin, I was treated to shoulders, arms and hands massages by a K Spa therapist. Yes, I was here for my face, but this was a welcomed extra treat, which felt heavenly. An hour later, I slinked out with life's stress-
