They were also the winner of the 2016 World Lux- ury Spa Awards and were awarded 5 Bubble Spa in 2018. It's no wonder once you enter the oa- sis of calm just off Shepherd's Bush Green. While the area is best known as a shopper's paradise with high street and luxury brands under the roof of Westfield Shopping centre, K West Hotel & Spa located on a quiet residential street has become a modern sanctuary of wellness away from the hus- tle and bustle of West London's busy streets. As I descended to the lower level, the spa recep- tion with its crisp white walls and warm wooden accents oozed elegance and chic. The serene K Spa is the ultimate destination for purposeful rest boasting superb facilities and an extensive treat- ment menu for the face and body. It also features an array of exclusive spa day rituals for women, men, and couples. Ready to be pampered and un- wind, I was first invited to prepare for a delightful time in the Wet Spa – an inner-city cocoon that comes complete with a Hydrotherapy pool, San- arium, Scandinavian style sauna, Aromatic Herbal Steam Room, and London's first Snow Paradise. A stint using spa facilities was only a prelude to the intriguing Cryo-Oxygen facial, branded as the most advanced rejuvenation treatment, which I was scheduled to try out. Upon entry to the main spa space, wearing a swimsuit, bathrobe, and slippers, I was welcomed with a grounded ambience, which made me feel instantly at ease. The chill-out Kuddles - mini booths where you can sit and relax with your com- panion by the table - add to the intimate aura and laid-back atmosphere. Even though I loved this adorable space, I was here on a self-indulgent trip by myself, so I didn't opt-out for lazing away on the sofa.
