The Bite Magazine - Spring 2019 - Issue 24

bite beauty T he best way to a healthy and fit body for that summer holiday is to start working and preparing your body shape as early as spring, rather than leaving it to the last minute in a rush to diet and detox. This type of method does not really work and let's be honest the results are never long lasting. This is because body products, just like any skin care for the face, needs between three to four weeks to show its full effects. In fact, it takes approximately 30 days for the body cells to regenerate themselves, moving from the lower layers of the epidermis to the skin surface of the dermis, which is the outer part of the skin. It does take a little bit of patience and self-love to apply such products to your body twice a day on a daily basis, but it is worth it in the end, to achieve the desired result of the skin looking more tight, hydrated and healthy. A good healthy diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, together with exercises and restful sleep will help towards restoring balance and bring harmony to the body and mind. There are so many beauty products with ingredients that can help in such a quest. I personally believe that beauty start with the mind and the beneficial effects derived from certain products. The selection of products I have chosen on this occasion were not based only on quality, but also on brands that are able to evoke a sense of natural approach to herbs, plants and flowers, to prepare the body and mind to embrace the new spring season. HEATHCOTE & IVORY VINTAGE & CO BRAIDS & BLOOM SOAP FLOWERS Founded by Denis Aaronson in 2000, Heathcote & Ivory’s exqui- site collection, designed in London, combines interior designs and beauty products to perfection.
