s we move swiftly towards the close of another year, we can take the opportunity to reflect on the events of the past year to determine what we have achieved in life so far. It is perhaps then we can look forward to anticipate what 2017 may hold for us. This current year has been eventful to say the least for most people and media-wise, we have witnessed some things that we thought would never be possible, such as Britain voting to come out of the European Union and the unlikely candidate, Donald Trump being voted in as President of the United States. But the world would be a boring place if everything worked like clockwork and to our liking. So what do we have for you in this last issue of 2016? Well, we have the entertaining and electrifying Red Hot Chili Peppers who have returned with their single and album of the same name, ‘The Getaway’ while the beautiful P!nk delights us with her new single ‘Just Like Fire’ in which she shows off her acrobatic skills in the video to the song.We also learn the reason why she is due a break from her husband of 10 years – read more about these two music celebrities in our pages. Jean Paul Gaultier, once known as the ‘enfant terrible’ for his rebellious designs and attitude is the main subject of our designer profile and we find out how the lonely boy that no one seemed to care about except his grandmother became one of the fashion world’s darlings.We also get to enjoy his sexy new video for the Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male and Classique fragrances. The beautiful and golden-skinned supermodel Gisele Bündchen graces the Bite Magazine pages in our model profile and we find out how she was instrumental in creating her own runway walk and becoming the most cover girl of her generation amassing an impressive 600 covers. We go across the ‘big pond’ to feature Georgian-based artist Justin M. Zielke, who is currently showing pieces of his collection ‘Memories’ at the Sylvester & Co. Modern General, who is also the subject of one of our features.We get introduced to the bold and sinister Bulldog London Dry Gin and learn what Anshuman Vohra; founder of the gin did to make this spirit trendy again in the world of drink.Whiskey brand, Jack Daniels’ turned 150 this year and we help them celebrate by saluting their 150 th birthday expression based on the Old No.7 recipe. As usual, we bring you our reviews of the best restaurants in the city and beyond. In this issue, we enjoyed the North-African cuisine of Momo Restaurant and the Bangkok Thai culinary of Busaba, both located in central London and both had no problem in taking us on an exotic experience of exquisite food far, far away. We are reminded of how German artist and fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh changed the face of fashion and ushered in the era of the supermodels with his black and white photographic skills in Peter Lindbergh: A Different Vision on Fashion Photography . Bugatti reclaimed their title as the fastest car in the world with their Chiron which sports a much larger size than its predecessor while Aston Martin celebrates their triumph with Red Bull Racing who collaborated together to build a concept road car, the AM- RB 001 and produced another Zagato model through their collaboration with the fashion house. With so much, much more packed into our autumn/winter 2016 issue, there will be plenty of content and images to keep you fully engaged until next year.
