With over 10 years of experience, Monique Lee is more than a milliner; since receiving her MA degree from the London College of Fashion in 2006, the designer has been involved in sports- wear and smart garment research, fashion trend forecasting, design and development, branding, PR, marketing, and management for numerous interna- tional fashion brands. She is currently the Principal Lecturer in Fashion Man- agement at Coventry University London Campus. With so many designs and unique head- pieces available at this great exhibition, it was a very enjoyable evening taking in all the talent and creativity that is out there. A band played in the next room during the course of the evening while a couple of women improvised with a collection of hats, showing the fascina- tion of dressing up in headpieces. We hope that this initiative will continue to showcase emerging milliners year after year so that the world will know who to go to should they ever need one for a special occasion. www.xterrace.com and www.moniquelee.uk bite exhibition Image Courtesy of Monique Lee
