Earlier this year, Bugatti added renowned furnishing brand Luxury Living to their portfolio of collabo- rations and now offer an exclusive range of luxury home and executive furniture. The Home Collection cele- brates the lifestyle of Bugatti, drawing inspiration from its legacy and the unique vision of the brand’s founder Ettore Bugatti. It was at the beginning of the 20 th century that Carlo Bugatti, Ettore’s father, designed furniture pieces himself, some of which are exhibited in museums around the world. It was from this influence that Italian architect Carlo Colombo reinterpreted the brand DNA to create some unique pieces of furniture that will be manufactured and distributed by Luxury Living Group. “Our distinctive character is increasingly moving towards a Bugatti global life- style,” said Massimiliano Ferrari, Head of Bugatti Brand Lifestyle for Bugatti Automobiles. “By complementing our current lifestyle collection with an inte- rior design proposal, we are now taking another step ahead.” Alberto Vignatelli, CEO and Chairman of Luxury Living Group agreed by saying, “Bugatti Home collection is a tribute to the flamboy- ant spirit which characterises the most famous automotive brand in the world. This furniture represents the unique style and the heart of Bugatti dominated by its key values Art, Form, Technique .” The shapes of the furniture portray the two-tone colour scheme, the Bugatti line and the horseshoe-shaped front grille which are found in the soft and continuous lines reminiscent of the aerodynamic design and super car per- formances. The frames in carbon fibre, the same material used to produce the Bugatti hulls, draw attention to the cutting edge technology side of the collection and its extremely complex design. The palette is made up of the historical colours of Bugatti which are mixed and combined in an elegant use of shades such as Blue Royale, nuances of light blue and neutral tones of silver grey, warm cashmere grey and the classic cognac colour. The collection consists of the Cobra Chair , an iconic piece that reinter- prets the early version designed and accomplished by Carlo Bugatti in a con- temporary way. This amazingly cutting edge and innovative chair combines back, frame and seat in a single element with curved and continuous lines. It’s upholstered in cognac leather, while the wooden frame has been replaced by a performing solution in carbon fibre painted in Blue Royale colour on the rear part. It is then enriched by a blue leather piping and by the charac- teristic EB monogram. The Royale Sofa and Armchair are the most aesthetically impressive pieces of furniture in the collection that reinterpret the tradition with breaking new dimensions both Bugatti Home Collection bite lifestyle
