The Milanese atelier presents their latest beauty collection inspired by the idea of having an icon beauty item for every occasion and situation: from day time meetings to evening events and fashion shows. The BLACK WARD- ROBE collection embraces a range of products and accessories in black essen- tial to your fashion look. Since 1992, this Italian fashion house has accessorised beauty as part of fashion, just like a designer bag or a stiletto would be part of a fashionista wardrobe. This special make-up collection and accessories have a great range and I had the pleasure of trying out their products on myself. I love the Polish Eye Pencil : a jet black shiny eye liner that applies like a pencil but finishes like a liquid liner. The colour is so intense that with just one application, it’s already wearable. Very easy to blend, the pencil is great for creating smoky eyes and thanks to its light reflecting properties, I found that it was perfect to recreate the great iconic 1950’s flick liner. The best companion to these types of strong fashionable looks is the BLACK IN BLACK HIGH DEFINITION MASCARA , a deep black mascara that needs only one application. I love the slim, thin brush that enables you to reach every single lash, even the small- est ones. The colour is so rich that it does not need layers upon layers to show, and it does this instantly without smudges or interfering with sensitive eyes or contact-lens wearers. Intense eyes works well with intense lips, and part of the Black in Black Wardrobe collection is the VOGUE MATTE LIPSTICK , a strong pigmented and yet rich matte lipstick which is a real statement to fashion. The build-in mois- turiser leaves lips soft and comfortable with a full on colour intensity. Rich in antioxidants and paraben-free, the vogue collection is fragrance-free and is available in twelve yummy shades. My festivity lip design of choice will be Red Vogue , a bright red to orange hue, for fun times, and Vegas Sunset , a true red with a hint of blue, for a more sophisti- cated and chic touch. The collection could not be completed without the iconic and most popular LORD & BERRY BRONZER . This is a silky, soft and light matte bronzer that blends so well when applied, it looks like sun-kissed skin rather than make- up. The matte finish is great to add a natural tanned bronzing look, but I love to use it also as a shader while con- touring and creating a sculpted cheek bone. The beauty of this Bronzer is its six shades, from very light to medium and dark hues. Also available in frosted shades, it is perfect for all skin tones, of which my favourite shade is Golden Bronzer. One accessory that is essen- tial to the Lord & Berry collection is the ULTIMATE TOUCH ERASER PENCIL , the magic wand for make-up lovers. This eraser with a soft fluid texture is fan- tastic for eliminating any smudges or uneven lines with simple rotating move- ments without removing the whole application. It’s a very handy tool to have around when creating a compli- cated flick or applying super red lipstick, especially when the excess cannot be wiped off with a cotton bud effectively.
