Amanda Blake takes a look at some of the latest films on the big screen. NEW FILM RELEASES bitefilms Captain America O ne year after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron , a major incident and the resulting fallout leads to the division of the Avengers into two separate opposing groups, led by Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr). While Stark supports government supervision, Rogers wishes to operate without regulation.  Scarlett Johansson returns as the BlackWidow along with Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye/Clint Barton, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch/ Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision among the teams. Paul Rudd appears as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, with Gwyneth Paltrow resuming her role as Pepper Potts. Sherlock star Martin Freeman also joins the cast as Everett Ross, a member of the Joint Counter Terrorism Centre whom the actor described as "ambiguous" and someone who "you don't know whether he's good or bad". With his role set to expand in future instalments, Freeman’s brief appearance is one to watch closely, together with Stan Lee in his trade- mark cameo appearance. Whether the now divided Avengers will be reconciled is unclear, but one thing that looks more certain is the continuation of their adventures in the Avengers: Infinity War films reportedly due to follow in the future.
