La Gasolina: Reggaeton Explosion in 2012, a feature film directed by Gregory McQual- ter as himself in Blood Money and lent his voice to 20th Century Fox’s animated film Epic as Bufo, the talking Toad in 2013. We also saw him on television as himself in Punk’d in 2007, La Esquina in 2007-2008 in two episodes and as executive pro- ducer and writer, When IWas 17 in 2010, Shark Tank and Dancing with the Stars in 2012 as special guest star, and a cameo part in hip hop drama Empire in 2015 as well as lending his voice to the video game Scarface:The World Is Yours in 2006. His music has appeared in Despicable Me 2 (Don’t Stop The Party featuring TJR and Echa Pa’lla (Manos Pa’rriba)), Hang- over Part II (Turn Around with Flo Rida), Pitch Perfect 2 (Timber featuring Ke$ha and Good Time with INNA) and Men in Black 3 (Back in Time). With his seven year plan for global success, Pitbull hasn’t stopped until he achieved all his goals. 2009 was the year of ‘Freedom’ when he released his first international smash hit ‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)’ which sold over 4 million copies and put him globally on the map; 2010 was ‘Invasion’ when he released his debut Spanish album Armando to critical and popular success and has major hits in Spanish and English; 2011 was ‘Build Empire’ in which ‘Give Me Everything’ became his first song on the Billboard Top 100 and to date has sold over 10 million copies, making it one of the bestselling singles of all time; 2012 was ‘GrowWealth’ in which he released his album GlobalWarming to massive com- mercial success and its biggest single ‘Timber’ peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top 100 in 18 different countries; 2013 was ‘Put the PuzzleTogether’ where he shared his love for kids and education by opening SLAM!, a charter school in Miami; 2014 was ‘Buckle Up’: the year he performed on the front lawn of theWhite House on 4th July and also produced his first prime time NewYear’s EveTV show for Fox; and 2015 was ‘Making History’ in which he has to date sold over 50 million singles worldwide and has had his YouTube videos viewed 7 billion plus times. In con- clusion, he said,“I never wonder how we got here; I wonder where we’re going.
