elcome to the first issue of 2016 and what an amazing start to the year it has been. It makes such a huge difference when spring finally shows up despite playing ping-pong with the weather at times. At The Bite, we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will get a whole lot hotter being big fans of the warmer seasons.We were ‘pleased as punch’ with the return of Adele and her single ‘Hello’. The dynamic singer has proved she still has the Midas Touch as sales of her single sky rocketed through the roof virtually as soon as it was released.We also discovered how dapper rapper Pitbull used his business sense and influence to become the amazing success that he is today using a seven-year plan. We are also delighted that Kate Hudson is the star of Campari’s 2016 Calendar and look back at her acting career as well as the theme of this year’s calendar. One of our favourite designers, Giorgio Armani is featured in this issue and we find out a little bit more about this usually private individual. On the flip side, Jourdan Dunn is the amazing featured model who has battled against all the odds to get where she is today. As one of the publications that have helped transformed the fashion industry, we visited the Vogue 100:A Century of Style exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery to discover how this intriguing glossy magazine has paved the way for other emerging tabloids. An artist who creates timeless paintings, we delve into the world of fine artist Dameon Priestly, the man behind the commissioned painting at Piquet Restaurant in London’s Newman Street. We get wedding tips and advice on how to enjoy life from St-Germain, a liqueur made from elderflower while Bombay Sapphire provides us with cocktail ideas using their latest product ‘Star of Bombay’. It was the battle of the Italians as Lamborghini and Ferrari went head to head at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show with the marques showing off their 2016 models. So which of these sexy numbers came out on top? Find out more in our report.
