Victor Wong Jada Brookes finds out more about the sensational Victor Wong who has taken the fashion world by storm with his architecturally designed sunglasses after only one collection. Y ou’ll never come across sunglasses as artistically and archi- tecturally designed as those of Victor Wong. Wearing his designs on the beach, around town or even to a high profile event will certainly get you noticed in seconds and you may even get a crowd following you in a desperate bid to find out where in the world you got those amazing and striking eyewear. This is what sets VictorWong apart from even the biggest of accessories designers. And when you have celebrities such as Sophie Hermann, Nadia Ford and Amy Willerton sporting your sunglasses, you’re bound to be up there with the best. Victor Wong even has his own theme song called ‘Love in the Sun’, an animated video full of vibrant colours, patterns and of course his sunglasses. It certainly paints a picture that the designer has a fun element to his char- acter as well as being creative. Last year, he had the privilege of being a judge at the ‘Miss Great Britain Southeast’ contest as well as turning up to the film premiere of Going Bongo in one of his designs and posing with 2014 Miss Jamaica winner Cherelle Paterson who was wearing his Weapon sunglasses at Dr VincentWong’s skincare launch in Dover Street.
