was applied to my nails before my feet were intensively moisturised with Marga- ret Dabbs Hygiene Cream leaving them super soft and glowing. The pedicure was finished with a slick of gorgeous red polish (it’s possible to request buffed or polished nails but I have quite the weak- ness for red polish) and just in case I wasn’t feeling pampered enough I was further indulged with a lovely manicure so that my hands were left as polished and healthy looking as my feet. Keen to continue the effects of my treat- ment I was sent away with their specially designed foot file (according to my podi- atrist using pumice stones is a terrible idea) so that I can continue removing hard skin from the feet effectively but safely and retain that salon fresh smooth- ness. I’ve been following that with their Intensive Treatment Foot Oil, which is an intensive dry oil created using nour- ishing Emu Oil that works wonders on dehydrated skin and nails. It comes with a spray applicator for easy, mess-free application and thanks to its scent of Lemon Myrtle; the oil leaves a refresh- ing, uplifting smell rather than the clinical fragrance that usually comes with foot care products. Several weeks on from the treatment and my toes are still wonderfully soft, per- fectly in shape as the weather perks up and open toes shoes are finally an option again. For feet that need a lot of atten- tion, the clinic sometimes recommends a course of treatments and I’ll be sure to make a medical pedicure a regular part of my beauty regimen going forward. Because in all honesty, all the designer shoes in the world won’t bring you joy if your feet aren’t looking their best to match. www.margaretdabbs.co.uk bitebeauty
