The Bite Magazine - Spring 2016 - Issue 15

Spring Make- Up Trends Beauty Editor Giovanna Zac reveals some of the make-up trends for the spring season. T he new spring make-up collections are finally in with lustre colours and inno- vations. With the warmer season now here, the colours have moved away from the darker, matte shades of winter to the new brilliant, vibrant hues. Classic pastel nudes shimmer and glitter with light, metallic shades of blue, green and deep berries for the eyes while pencils are kept multi-toned with blacks, blues and greens to softer browns and creamy whites to keep the eyes looking bigger and well defined. Big lashes and false ones are the must-have for this season. Fresh shades of pink, corals and orange are the colour choice for lips, in matte or glossy, while red, which is always a classic will be a true red, like apple red or Ferrari blood red with an hint of orange. Bright, matte or satin red lipstick has to be per- fectly applied, as seen on the catwalks of Dolce and Gabbana or DKNY. Cheeks are kept glowing with reflexes of iridescent pink, gold and beigey colours, all perfectly blended with sun-kissed bronzers and highlighters. bitebeauty
