opportunity to launch a new fragrance called ‘La Diva’ designed to have a magnetic personality that portrays an extraordinary freedom and an impec- cable taste. La Diva is for “a girl who doesn’t shine through a success based on appearance but through her attitude and personality, standing out among others.” With this in mind, La Diva is a daring fragrance that celebrates optimism and light-heartedness. Its fragrance is like a luscious radiance that spreads like a ray of light with top notes of raspberry, pear and pink peppercorn. The heart of the fragrance is a graceful and fac- etted bouquet of jasmine, quince and gardena which represent an elegant and suave feminine beauty, while the base is enriched with a sweet combination of honey and vanilla as well as the refined and deep notes of patchouli.The perfume bottle itself is no exception: with an inno- vative and eye catching diamond shape of the flacon it represents the stylised sil- houette of a woman. Its engraved drapery on glass is the typical extravagant style of Emanuel Ungaro fashion, with a fluttering spotted bow that adorns the neck of the flacon, like a foulard on a neck of a chic Parisian woman. The outer package has the polka dot motive, the iconic pattern of Emanuel Ungaro which stands out on the flacon and surrounds the box, creat- ing a unique eye catching combination of black and white. At the celebration, 600 guests were treated to a virtual history of the brand in images, from haute couture to prêt- à-porter, choreographed and created by photographer and fashion designer Ali Mahdavi to an original score created by Monarchy.The La Diva fragrance was introduced by Michele Norsa, CEO of the Salvatore Ferragamo Group through a spectacular 3D projection on the façade of the Petit Palais with Charlotte Free, the new face of La Diva. Entertain- ment was provided by French group, LEJ and DJ Marie-Amélie Seigner who fired up the dancefloor until the early hours of the morning while guests included fashion model and actress Bojana Panić, French model and actress Estelle Lefe- bure, Russian fashion expert and TV presenter Evelina Khromtchenko, French actress Frédérique Bel, Belgian fashion model Leila Ndabirabe, French singer and actress Élodie Frégé and French musician Manu Katche.
