biteshoes Heel Way to Heaven Y ou’ll often hear a devotee of the vertiginous stiletto whisper the saying ‘the higher the heel, the closer to heaven.’ Not entirely untrue however the shoe that the heel is attached to MUST be worthy of those pearly gates and a pair of clunky, faux cheap looking heels will never, ever be up to scratch. A great pair of heels is the ultimate luxury but also, quite the neces- sity and I’m forever on the lookout for those perennial staples that I will cherish in my wardrobe season after season. Classic with a twist is always a failsafe, those beautiful heels that can comple- ment the zaniest of ensembles but also have enough pizazz to carry themselves and add character to the simpler pairings of jeans and a white shirt and comfort is ALWAYS key – a pair of heels should give you gravitas and elegance, not the gait of a stumbling bambi!
