UCA Rochester
Rochester was full of quirky and innova-
tive designs, including massive plastic
cartoon toy heads matching the shades
of micro dresses in red, lilac and choco-
late brown with stripes. Drapes and
folds wrapped sensually around the
body in mixtures of burnt orange,
maroon and burnt sienna. The use of
harness leather, lambskin, coated linen
and foil-coated wool gave one of the
designs an equestrian look. Galactic
pirate headpieces and jelly-fish drapes
wrapped around the face added flair to
this collection of croquet knitwear, lace
and leather in white, black and grey –
amazing mixes of creative styles. There
was a bit of a gothic cathedral theme as
crosses were featured throughout in
dark shades of stone blue and grey.
Keeping it slick and slim, latex sports-
wear in peach and pink accentuated the
aerodynamic curve of the feminine
body and placed the design in a class of
its own. Martyr in religion, anatomy and
geometry was the emphasis in a collec-
tion of long flowing gowns and geomet-
ric designs.
