Another collaboration of cultures, Congo meets Italian chic pre-
sented an interesting combination of colours and styles at the
Salford University show.We were in awe as a beautiful display of
frills and froth in colourful pleats, folds and streamers made us sit
up in our seats. The white wizard got a completely new
wardrobe as a refreshing collection of menswear in all white
took to the stage. A creepy but beautiful mix of traditional tap-
estry, features and sheer material brought to the surface the real-
ity of how objects can lose their meaning when we return to
dust; and an exploration of geometric shapes, sculpture and print
drawn from Russian constructivism was the reasoning behind a
palette of interesting infusion of colours.
